Every once in a while there is a newer piece of technology that so few people use, but so clearly will become ubiquitous in the future. Smart light bulbs are so inexpensive now. They can be operated via your smartphone to change colors, dim, and come on at a certain time in the morning. This can help you fall asleep and wake up. Light is the most important aspect of properly falling asleep and waking up and in our society we have a very unhealthy relationship with artificial light – screens, and non adjustable traditional lights. We can sleep better and save so much electricity if we convert our lightbulbs to smart adjustable bulbs because rarely do we need lights on full brightness.
