The Xiaomi Aurora Yeelight strips have been the best light strips that I have tested to date! These will allow you to control from within in the app, through a attached control switch & from smart assistants light Google Home and Amazon Alexa. This product is also IFTTT compatible.

How can I use the lights for a TV with movies or series? (ambient color)

Sadko says:

I have purchased and attached several brands of LED strips and they all share the same failing: Poor adhesion to any surface.
Within a short period of time, the adhesive backing becomes useless and the strips peel away. Although LED’s generate less heat than incandescent sources of light, they still generate a noticeable amount of heat, which hastens the softening and peeling of the adhesive.. Simple physics will show that the brighter the LED’s, the greater amount of heat is generated. The ones that I still have in my office are held in place by some spaced clips that I have reinforced with Super Glue. In between the clips the LED strips the strips hang sagging in a very ugly and amateurish manner. The LED strips could be able to play Wagner’s entire Ring Cycle, and the physical failing would still be there. I am currently waiting for my electrician to have time available to install an additional solid Traclight fixture into which I will screw three smart bulbs.

The original lightstrip has an option for WHITE only and the ability to change the K. Does the NEW aurora/plus lack the ability to pick white as per your video and my research?
