David Polanco says:

Great video, I have been wondering what would be some great inexpensive lighting for the perimeter of my home. Thank you!

Govee Smart says:

Hi Reed, thank you for your video and your opinions about Govee string light!

James Jones says:

Hey Reed, not a fan of the way you have the power-brick. But I wouldn’t call it trashy. Shame they didn’t think about the power-brick when designing.

On that note, and not that you want to switch out your perfectly good lamp, I saw one at Home Depot that has a outlet built in, which would get you power closer.

steve pennington says:

Really like the way you do videos. Helps me out a ton since I am new to the smart home phenomenon! Thanks.

Keith Croshaw says:

It’s a shame those outdoor lights are Bluetooth… I guess I only turn my lights on manually out back as it is, but if it’s connected to mains why not just go WiFi Govee? I don’t think there’s a Zigbee standard for individually controllable LEDs so Zigbee wouldn’t work. Nice little video, hopefully AZ will be a nice break from the cold in NJ, headed there in February.

ModernDayTech says:

Still love those garden spots. Just wish they were white white. Great video and congrats on 20k!!

stromjockey says:

if only there were a smartthings compatible version of those govee string bulbs

James Jones says:

Wondering if I need the Starter Kit of the Lightify Garden Spots if I have a ST hub already?

Mark Forrest says:

You have scorpions?????

JimPott2 says:

Hey bruddah. Glad to see some new subs!!! Keep up the great work.

danger450 says:

That power brick is ridiculous, but it looks fine where you put it … but in the future, you may wish to have a higher outlet installed, with maybe a box shelf / ledge on top of it … to help support/hide the box.

Kevin Prefer says:

If the garden spots themselves work with Smartthings do you need the GE zwave outdoor switch also?

If you’re interested in the Govee LED String Lights there is a coupon code available until the end of January. QSDNDKT4

Will Curran says:

So Hue is just huge bridge, not a generic Zigbee hub which is why you couldn’t get it to work. There is a lightify hub you can use. I have an extra one if you want it. However, a generic zigbee hub will controll those as well.
