Suzanne Dimma shares a contemporary kitchen makeover by designer Nicole Lanteigne and gives expert tips to consider when renovating. Get modern design ideas, smart storage solutions, small space advice and more!
The kitchen was originally cramped, so Nicole changed the layout by swapping the island for a peninsula to create better flow. She paired crisp white cabinetry with teak veneer uppers for a timeless palette. Details like touch latches, channel pulls and a range hood hidden behind cabinet doors create a clean and streamlined look. A glass mosaic tile backsplash adds subtle texture while glass pendant light fixtures keep sight lines clear through the sleek space.

love it . that the look am going for but an Open L shape kitchen
Wow, beautiful kitchen! Love all the functional details.
Absolutely stunning! THiis is so far my favorite.
Those two chair-like stools at the peninsula are shown impossibly close together. Simpler bar stools might fit better. Wish you’d shown more of how storage was implemented in the pantry.
Beautiful kitchen
Nicely done! This looks to be about the same size as my kitchen and has given me some ideas for my future renovation 🙂
`Very nice, crisp, clean and so functional!
Nice one, you are perfect
No room is quite as multifunctional as the kitchen. The hub of the home, this space has evolved from a strictly utilitarian unit into a versatile room to prepare food, entertain guests and share meals. If you’re looking to do a kitchen remodel, keep in mind that a successful modern kitchen design needs to blend functionality with personal prerequisites.

Nice kitchen but the darker wood above makes the room look smaller. If only that part would have been white too, it would even be better
lovely
I am stunned !
Bad design
Nice
It is perfect. 🙂
