Decorating a new-build home? Steal designer Jenna Cadieux’s brilliant tips on how to create an inviting atmosphere in a contemporary space using modern furniture, a mix of materials and texture.
The family room off the kitchen is quite modern, so Jenna mimicked the sleek look with a flat-front cabinet, a large sectional and sculptural pieces. By painting the French doors a dark color, Jenna was able to create a focal point. In the principal bedroom, Jenna freshened up pre-existing furniture with colorful throw pillows, soft drapery and new table lamps. In the spa-like ensuite, glass mosaic tile anchors the vanity wall, and is complemented by lucite used in the mirror’s frame, side table and accessories.

Matress is from where?
I love her voice, so calm.
Absolutely Gorgeous!
May I know from where you the lucite table ?
How is this modern? Most of the decorative items could have been easily used by someone’s grandmother. Same goes for the bathroom lights.
Gorgeous!!!!
U should give ideas about fan air some people live in very hot climate.
This video is very discrete
The bedroom is a bit drab. I have never seen a bedroom so muted and with no art on the walls. I’m sure that had more to do with the homeowner than designer. Also the mosaic wall in the bathroom was beautiful it just didn’t see to make the room pop. The designer certainly was enthusiastic and happy to work with these homeowners.
Brightly and freshly! I like the idea and style. Thanks for sharing.
Great design + no uptalk! A rarity, loved the bulkhead detailing & the fact that she re-used what she could.
I love this decorator, I admire her works and she is so sweet. Beautiful place!
Really like the neutral tones and looks like people can actually sleep, eat and watch tv in the home.
